You guys are so right, I'm going to start smoking today. It obviously can't be bad for me according to your "stats." By the way, do you believe the stats that seat belts save lives? If so, enough said, if not, then enjoy the view from the windshield.
chirp ... chirp-chirp ... chirp
Well played. By the way, voted for Huckabee today. Did you guys follow through with your vote for Ron Paul?
As is the case nine times out of ten, you completely missed the point. At no point in our discussion did we suggest that people who do not smoke should start smoking. Nor were we trying to use statistics to show that smoking is not bad for you. What we...what's the point. I'm getting ready to leave for the booth right now, and I will be voting for Ron Paul.
No, I changed my mind while I was walking over to the polling place, then I changed it back. Of course I followed through with my vote for Ron Paul!
great content in that last show...it seems torri's smoking ban is up in smoke. as i said on TSD, less intelligently of course, second hand smoking links may be impossible to prove, just as a link between eating carrot soup and winning the lottery. the idea that the argument is statistical and not medical will be ignored by my friend torri, because his involvment in the smoking ban is an emotional one, not an intellectual one.
its down to personal preference about breathing second hand smoke, and it looks like one of us is wiling to impose his preferences on everyone else for the sake of his own comfort. and he doesnt live in sherman.
